These terms govern your use of roicue.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the Site.

ROICue is an ROI and CAGR calculator: it computes return on investment, net profit, investment multiple and CAGR, and can add extra contributions for a money-weighted return. In practice, it divides the net gain by the cost for a simple ROI, and for CAGR it takes the ratio of final to initial value to the power of one over the number of years, which is the growth rate that would produce the same end value by compounding. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from your cost, final value and holding period, and it is usually opened for things like comparing two investments over different lengths of time. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

The service we provide

The Site provides an ROI and CAGR calculator and explanatory material, free of charge, for general information and education. Results are estimates derived from the inputs you supply using the method described on the page. Financial output is illustrative: it assumes steady rates, unchanged contributions and simplified taxes, none of which will hold exactly, and it is not advice.

No duty of care created

No professional relationship arises from your use of the Site, and any decision you base on a result is your own responsibility.

Third-party content and advertising

Third-party adverts keep the Site free and external links appear for convenience. We vouch for neither, and neither can change an output.

Service availability

We make no guarantee the Site will always be available. Any tool or page may be changed or removed at any time, and the service is supplied "as is".

Limits on our liability

So far as the law allows, we accept no liability for indirect or consequential losses, nor for any choice made in reliance on an output from the Site.

The law that governs these terms

These terms are subject to the laws of the Site operator's jurisdiction, and conflict-of-law provisions do not override that.

Money-related limitations

Anything money-related rests on simplified assumptions and is provided for illustration. It is not advice, it will not match reality exactly, and a licensed adviser should be consulted before a decision is taken on it.

Errors and completeness

The methods are chosen carefully and described on the page, but no output is warranted to be free of error, complete or current. Where a recognized margin applies, read the figure as an estimate.

Permitted and prohibited use

The Site is available for your own personal or business use. Do not attack, overload, or scrape it to the point of harming other users, do not pass it off as your own work, and do not use it for anything illegal.

Who owns what here

Ownership of the Site's design, text and code rests with us or our licensors. You are free to link to any page, but reproducing substantial content requires permission in writing.
